Girl who died of cholera
Cholera is not only one of the more potent and contagious diseases, it strikes quickly and fiercely, as well. Dehydration from cholera-induced diarrhea and vomiting can be fatal. This lithograph was produced in London during that city's 1831-32 epidemic.
